I have converted a hollow log into a nesting box. I introduced this into the Princess Parrots cage on the ground as a second option for a nesting box as they are now my only parrots not to nest this season so far.
exceptional box, i love how you have everytopic with a picture. It really shows that you want other people to follow the same road as you as a breeder. I have two scarlets and have just started nesting ( chucking out material- alot). Was there any action/signs that yours were about to breed? thankyou.
Thanks for the comment. I thought it best to share my knowledge as it is hard to find information on breeding birds, a lot is assumed or protected as a trick of the trade I find.
I generally got no real signs other than the female would spend more time in the nesting box and have feathers missing from the back of the neck (from mating).

What are you using for nesting material?
